Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 519 The athletes at St Joseph Primary brought lots of excitement and competitive energy on Friday as the school hosted their annual Junior Sports at the Grantley Adams Memorial School.  The day ended in jubilation for Blue House, who repeated as champions with a hard-fought 461 points. Yellow House gave a valiant effort, finishing just behind with 446 points, while Red House secured third place with 417 points.  The event showcased outstanding individual performances, headlined by Victrix Ludorum Shariyah Inniss of Red House. She dominated the Under-13 Girls division, scoring a perfect 30 points with victories in the 600m, 200m, and 100m. Holder claimed gold in the 100m, 200m, and 400m Under-13 Boys’ events, cementing his reputation as a standout athlete.  Blue House continued to shine with Tishanna Grant’s versatile performance in the Under-11 Girls’ division. She amassed 28 points with victories in the 200m and 300m and a second-place finish in the 600m.  Yellow House kept the competition intense, thanks to Under-9 champions Rakira Mayers and J’Keri Layne. They both scored 28 points with dominant performances in the 80m, 100m, and 150m. Khamari Sandiford also contributed significantly to Yellow House’s tally with 26 points in the Under-11 Boys’ division.  Despite Yellow House’s determined efforts, Blue House maintained consistency across all divisions, to secure their victory.
