Sargeant’s Village man fatally shot in St Barnabas, Heights

Police are investigating the shooting death of 27-year-old Anthony Malike Raheem Callender of Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church, on Thursday.
According to a release, police responded to a report around 11:15 p.m., about a man who had been shot 10 minutes prior in St Barnabas, Heights, St Michael.
Upon arriving at the location, they discovered Callender’s body.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Callender was walking along the road when a vehicle approached and gunshots were fired.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
