As a result, a small craft advisory remain in effect. The Atlantic high-pressure system continues to generate strong surface to low-level wind speeds which has resulted in an agitation in the seas. Additionally, data from NOAA buoy positioned in the Atlantic, east of the island chain, shows that swell heights are currently between 2.0m to 3.0m in open waters. Model guidance indicates a gradual improvement in these conditions are expected by Wednesday. Possible Impacts Small craft operators and beachgoers should be prepared for the possibility of large open water swells that could be hazardous to some vessels. The operation of smaller vessels may be difficult at times. There is the possibility of loss of life or injury.
