The man was reportedly sitting outside under a streetlight at around 9:35 p.m. when he was approached by a masked man armed with a firearm. The assailant demanded that he hand over the jewelry he was wearing and shot him before escaping with it. The victim was taken for urgent medical attention in a private motorcar.
