The 55-year-old unemployed resident of 1st Avenue Chapman Lane, St Michael, appeared in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court and pleaded guilty to stealing the items, valued at $2 025, belonging to Martin Mansour, on April 28. After Harewood told the court that he helps pack fish on weekends and works in his neighbourhood, Magistrate Alison Burke sentenced the man, who has 68 previous convictions, to nine months imprisonment, suspended the sentence for one year and warned him to stay out of trouble.
