The 35-year-old machine operator of Hillside, Gall Hill, Christ Church, went before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court, accused that, with intent to maim, disfigure or disable Andrew Ashmeade, he did serious bodily harm to Ashmeade on April 20. Sergeant Reginald Blackman argued against Lewis’ release, saying that he has 21 previous convictions, was already on bail from the Oistins Magistrates’ Court, and was on a curfew.
