Police probe early morning gunfire in Bank Hall

Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Saturday morning at Peterkins Road, Bank Hall, St Michael.

According to reports, a barrage of gunfire was heard in the area shortly before 3 a.m.

Public Affairs and Communications Officer of the Barbados Police Service, Acting Inspector Ryan Brathwaite, confirmed that the Police Operations Control Room received a report of gunshots at the corner of 5th Avenue Peterkins and Peterkins Main Road. However, he noted that no further details could be provided at this time.

Investigations are ongoing.
