Trailing 3-0 at the close of the first quarter, Shirley Chisholm changed their orange bibs to pink and changed their luck to emerge 9-7 champions in front of an exuberant crowd. Goal shooter Lashanae Passley and goal attack Zaryha Ramsay scored four unanswered goals in the final quarter, thanks to the work of goal defence Cemone Edwards and goal keeper Arin Ocean-Eastmond. Down five goals to one at half-time, Shirley Chisholm fans cheered their primary school netball giants to an 8-2 run over the last two quarters to retain their title. Passley’s shooting stats read five from seven (5/7), while Ramsey hit four of five (4/5) shots.
