Man gunned down in Fairfield

A 25-year-old St James man was shot and killed in Fairfield, St Michael, on Wednesday night.

Police said Romario Payne, of Haynesville, was among a group of men who got out of a car along Simmons Land around 10:15 p.m. when multiple gunshots were fired.

Payne was hit several times and died at the scene. He was identified by a relative.
