Island Fusion produced one of the standout performances on Sunday when the 2025 Barbados Beach Soccer Championship continued at Browne’s Beach, St Michael, with several entertaining matches.

Island Fusion romped to a commanding 6-2 victory over Trident Tide, with the dynamic duo of Shamar Crichlow and Shamar Clarke both registering hat-tricks.

Their composure in front of the goal, coupled with their flair and teamwork, made Island Fusion the talk of the beach.

In another captivating encounter, Trident Spurs edged Island Invincibles 3-2 in a tense battle, thanks to a brilliant brace from Logan Carrington. The match kept spectators on edge from start to finish, with both teams showing immense determination and skill.

The day’s most explosive performance, however, came from Tropical Thunder, who stormed past Full Volley 10-2 in a stunning rout. Striker Jamar Grazette was in sublime form securing a hat-trick, while Akel Inniss chipped in with two goals in a dominant all-round team effort.

Sunset Chasers also turned up the heat, dismantling Island Wave 7-2 with slick attacking play. Jamaican Ormando McLeod and Tezan Phillips both bagged braces as their side put on an exhibition of pace, power, and precision that had the Browne’s Beach crowd roaring in approval.

In Saturday’s matches which also played at Browne’s Beach, Pelican Pirates continued their winning momentum with a 3-0 triumph over Soca Stormers, courtesy of goals from Shawn Jack, Isiah Springer, and Shaka Glenville, while The Wave Runners also shone, defeating Sea Turtle Braves 5-3, with Mikel Bishop scoring twice.

Elsewhere, Bajan Spartans cruised past Tiki Tacklers 4-1, Sundown Ballers edged Solar Strikers 3-2, and Southern Rays outclassed Crop Over Kings 3-1, led by a brace from Mario Sargeant.
