The Barbados Police Service said that members of its Narcotics Unit arrested and formally charged Halston Norman Spence of Brandon Gates Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, in relation to offences committed on October 26, 2025. Spence was charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking of cannabis, intent to supply, and importation of cannabis. Police said the drugs weighed approximately 31.6 kilogrammes, with an estimated street value of BDS$252,800. He appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘F’ Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 31, where he pleaded not guilty to the offences. Spence was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds), and the matter was transferred to the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court for hearing on November 5, 2025.
