There were many times I had to fill in for persons who were either sick or unavailable to fulfil their duties. As a board we also took on a lot of activities which were very time consuming. I have therefore decided that I will be vacating the post of President,” she told members. Doughlin added, “I feel satisfied that I have given three years even though because the by-laws came into effect in January 2024, it was agreed that the period would end in December 2026 for the president, but I have decided to leave at the end of my three years.” A notice of the meeting is expected to be circulated 30 days prior to the AGM.
