Tonja Semone Trotman, 41, an administrative assistant of Union Road, appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee accused of stealing sums ranging from $1 651 to $4 427 belonging to Palm Court Gastroenterology between December 1, 2020 and June 10, 2024. She was not required to plead to the 40 theft charges, which total $102 602. Her elder sister, Nicole Leoann Trotman, 45, of Bequest, was granted $10 000 bail after being charged with stealing sums ranging from $205 to $1 608 between October 8, 2020 and April 30, 2024, totalling $6 320. The part-time administrative assistant’s case will continue on January 17, 2026. Nicole Trotman is represented by Brittany Browne, while Tonja Trotman is represented by Markaila Brathwaite. Both lawyers appear in association with King’s Counsel Michael Lashley.
