Jarell Stefon Sutherland, 28, of Ellerton, St George, was brought before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District โAโ Criminal Court on Saturday. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). The case has been transferred to the District โBโ Magistratesโ Court for December 15, 2025. Sutherland was arrested and formally charged by the Barbados Police Serviceโs Criminal Investigations Department (South) in relation to offences allegedly committed on November 27, 2025. These include the use of a firearm; endangering the lives of Akeil Jackson, Sachin Etwaroo, Chad Bynoe and Brandon Devonish; and criminal damage to the property of Janelle Russell and Patel Puckerin.
