A 40-year-old labourer accused of threatening a man on Christmas Eve, pleaded not guilty and was granted $3 000 bail with a stay-away order pending his April return to court.

ย

Javon Omar Denny will return to the District โ€˜Aโ€™ Traffic Court next year after denying that on Christmas Eve, he used towards Adrian John Snagg threatening words โ€œI would kill you boyโ€, intending to cause him to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against him.

ย

The resident of Husbands Development pleaded not guilty when Magistrate Alison Burke read the charge.

ย

After no objections were raised, Denny was released on $3 000 bail with a surety and ordered to stay away from Snagg.

ย

The case continues on April 17, 2026.
