Jacobi Tyrike Nicholas Gilkes of #2 Golden Rock, Pinelands, St Michael has been formally charged by the Barbados Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Criminal Investigations Department (Hastings/Worthing). He is accused of the June 16, 2025 murder of Anderson Calderon, as well as two counts of endangering life and unlawful use of a firearm on that same date. Gilkes also faces charges stemming from two separate robbery incidents. He is charged with robbing Jason Chandler on September 12 2025 of items valued at $14,980, and robbing Andrew Lewis on October 2, 2025 of items valued at $2 500. In connection with the October 2 incident, he has also been charged with serious bodily harm and unlawful use of a firearm. He is scheduled to appear before the court today, February 18, 2026.
