The Most Honourable Reginald Farley, F.B., J.P., was sworn in as President of the Senate, while The Most Honourable Elizabeth Thompson, F.B., took the oath as Deputy President of the Senate. Also sworn in as Government Senators were John King, Roshanna Trim, Ramon Alleyne, Kamisha Benjamin and Janeil Odle.
