Grazettes man on remand over affray, firearm charges

A Grazettes, St Michael man has been remanded to Dodds Prison after appearing in court on charges of affray and illegal use of a firearm.

Peter MacFarren Rouse, 27, of Scotts Terrace appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court No. 2. He is accused of joining with another man to commit unlawful violence towards another person and his conduct was such that would cause a person of reasonable firmness present to fear for their safety on January 3. He is also charged with using an unlicensed firearm on that date.

No pleas were taken to the indictable offences, and Rouse, represented by attorney Shadia Simpson, was remanded until March 23.

The case was transferred to the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
