The dealership has expanded its lineup with the launch of two new KGM models, a move described as a โsignificant stepโ in the companyโs push for sustainable transportation on the island. During the unveiling event on Saturday, General Manager Chris Haywood introduced the Acteon, a hybrid SUV, alongside a fully electric version of the Musso pickup truck. Addressing concerns about the truckโs suitability for local terrain, Haywood said, โThese vehicles are built for basically Australian conditions, so I donโt foresee any issues with their durability and our terrain or Barbados.โ The shift toward electric mobility is being driven largely by operational efficiency, with the company reporting a significant reduction in running costs. โBasically, the cost to operate a fully electric vehicle versus your conventional ICE or internal combustion engine vehicle is about a 75 per cent reduction in running costs,โ said Haywood, who attributed the dealershipโs local success to a strong focus on customer experience and word-of-mouth reputation.
