(PHOTO CREDIT: DLP) The DLP explained that the intent of certificates was to recognise not only medal-winning performances, but also the wider contribution of team members whose collective effort contributed to Barbadosโ overall showing. ย Senator Walters commended the entire delegation for its commitment and representation of Barbados. ย โWe acknowledge every member of this team, not only those who stood on the podium, but those who contributed through their effort, discipline and support. โCertificates were prepared for every team member, coach, official in both competitionsโฆOnce you were a part of the 2026 CARIFTA group we salute you. You have all played a role in making Barbados proud,โ he said. ย Greaves also extended congratulations to the group, while encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in their respective disciplines.
