Trasuon Romario Roger Alleyne of Morris Gap, Westbury Road was arrested and formally charged by the Barbados Police Service’s Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) with possession of a firearm and possession of 26 rounds of ammunition on April 30. Alleyne appeared before Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1 on Monday, May 4. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service at Dodds. The matters have been transferred to the District ‘A’ Traffic Court for June 1.
