November 9 has been set as the trial date for the veteran calypsonian of Clapham Park, St Michael, who has denied having sexual intercourse with a female without her consent, or being reckless as to whether she consented, between July 17 and September 8, 2023. When the case was called before Justice Anthony Blackman in the No. 3A Supreme Court on Friday, Principal State Counsel Joyann Catwell, who is prosecuting with State Counsel Treann Knight, presented Carter’s legal team of Senior Counsel Andrew Pilgrim and attorney Leslie Cargill-Straker with copies of extracts of station diaries.
