Hilda Skeene records back-to-back wins

Hilda Skeene recorded two wins on day two of the Pedialyte Sport National Sports Council Primary School Netball competition.

Playing in the Marva Sealy/Angela Gibbs Zone at King George V Memorial Park in St Philip on Tuesday, Hilda Skeene defeated Reynold Weekes Primary 2-1 and Mount Tabor 3-0.

Speaking to Barbados TODAY after the second game, captain Dakiyah Dottin-Clake, says they were relieved to secure the wins.

โ€œIt was a good game, but I had a little competition from the Mount Tabor defence. We are happy with the result and hope to go all the way to the final,โ€ Dottin-Clarke.

In other results in the zone, St Bartholomew edged Reynold Weekes 4-3 and blanked St Markโ€™s 3-0, while St Markโ€™s and Mount Tabor played to a 1-1 draw.ย 

In action at the Speightstown courts, All Saints continued their winning ways by defeating Selah 6-0, Gordon Greenidge got past St Albans 4-0 and St Lucy Primary edged Elliot Belgrave 3-2.

St Albans and Elliot Belgrave then drew 2-2, Elliot Belgrave blanked Selah 6-0 and St Lucy Primary defeated St Silas 3-1.
