A 22-year-old machine operator has been granted bail after being charged with criminal damage in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court.

Keenan Zavier Browne, of Wellhouse, St Philip, is accused of damaging a door belonging to the State, either out of recklessness or with intent, on May 20.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge before Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick and was released on $1 500 bail.

The case was adjourned until August 26.
