Inyah Iroyal Jones of Thorpes, St James pleaded guilty in the High Court before Justice Pamela Beckles in the No. 5 Supreme Court to having a Taurus .380 ACP calibre pistol without a valid licence and four rounds of ammunition without a valid permit. The offences occurred on September 16, 2022. State Counsel Maya Kellman accepted the plea on behalf of the State. Justice Beckles ordered a pre-sentence report and a record of time spent on remand before adjourning the case until June 16 to hear the facts. Jones is represented by defence attorney Kyle Watts.
