The initiative forms part of the law schoolโs broader alumni engagement strategy and is being piloted through the Class of 1997, with alumnus Christopher Townsend serving as Cohort Ambassador. The eight-week campaign aims to mobilise support for scholarships, student success initiatives, mentorship, professional development and institutional growth. Alumni are also being encouraged to contribute their expertise, professional networks and volunteer service in support of students and the school. NMLS Principal Dr Christopher Malcolm said the initiative is intended to strengthen ties between the institution and its graduates while creating additional opportunities for students. โThis campaign, which forms part of a broader strategic approach to alumni engagement, provides an important opportunity to strengthen the Schoolโs relationship with its graduates while creating new avenues of support for our students and the continued development of our institution,โ Malcolm said. Townsend described the Class of 1997โs role in the initiative as a pioneering one.
