Keith Eric Eversley, of Oak Leaf Villa, Mangrove Plantation, St Philip, has denied having sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent, or being reckless as to whether she consented, on February 16, 2019. A nine-member jury of five women and four men in the No. 4 Supreme Court heard closing arguments from acting Senior State Counsel Paul Prescod and defence attorney Rasheed Belgrave, who represents Eversley. Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell adjourned the trial until Thursday, when she is expected to sum up before the jury retires to deliberate.
