Paradise extend lead in BFA Kotex Women’s League

Paradise have extended their lead at the top of the Barbados Football Association’s Kotex Women’s League.

They remain unbeaten on 18 points after six games, following a 3-0 default win over FVFC Femeini at the BFA Technical Centre on Tuesday.

Empire moved up to second on 12 points, following a 4-2 win over Mavericks in Tuesday’s remaining game. Tiana Bynoe led the way with two goals, while Lorall Romaine and Ketaruh Lowe-Millar were also on target for Empire.

Terena Clarke and Gabrielle Birmingham were the goal scorers for Mavericks, who are fourth on nine points.

RF Prime Academy have amassed 12 points, but are third due to their inferior goal difference to Empire.

In Wednesday’s action, Whitehall recorded their first win of the season, as a double strike from Kellis Blackman and another goal from Serena Jackman powered them to a 3-1 win over bottom of the table Police.

Kayla Blackett was on target for the law women, who remain winless.
