Narine led a disciplined Knight Riders bowling attack, taking 2 for 14, while Kieron Pollard grabbed 2 for 19. In their turn at the wicket, Knight Riders never looked back after cruising to 60 without loss at the end of the powerplay. Narine and Collin Munroe added 96 runs for the first wicket before Munroe was dismissed for 37.
