On Sunday, the prime minister, a medical doctor, went to the Joseph N France General Hospital in the capital, Basseterre, complaining of mild discomfort, nausea, and a headache, the Cabinet Secretariat said in an official statement on his health early on Monday. The secretariat said he was immediately admitted for observation and a thorough clinical evaluation. The medical team and specialists at the JNF General Hospital attended to him over an 18-hour period. Following comprehensive analysis and diagnostic reviews, his treating physicians are satisfied with his overall condition, confirming that he remained awake, alert, and stable, the statement added.
