Deacons man identified as victim of fatal Fernihurst stabbing

Twenty-six-year-old Jamario Omar Holder of Block 7, Farm Road, Deacons, St Michael, has been identified as the man who died following a stabbing at Fernihurst, St Michael, on Tuesday afternoon.

The Barbados Police Service said initial investigations suggest that two men were involved in a dispute around 4:30 p.m., during which Holder was stabbed.

He was transported by private vehicle to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police said a person of interest is assisting with the investigation.
