Domino champions crowned in 185-point showdown

Carlton & A1Braves held their nerve to capture the Barbados Domino Association’s 185-point Senior Division championship on Sunday.

Playing at the Barbados Defence Force, the champions overcame a determined Buzo Osteria Welchman Hall 185 -170 to claim the title.

Johnathan Grandinson and Sharon Cherry Lynch led the charge for Calrton & A1Braves, combining for an impressive 42 points.

RM Cleaners secured third place, after defeating French Village 185-172.

In the Intermediate Division, R L Seale QEH produced a convincing 185-169 victory over Trident Insurance Patriots. Lamar Callender and Diamond Springer contributed 36 points for the champions.

Police took third spot, edging Speightstown 185-181 in a closely contested game.

Bathsheba dominated the Junior Division defeating Turton’s Construction Hindsbury 185-169.

Neil Gale and Anderson Greene led Bathsheba with 36 points, while Blaine Forde and Slyvia Forde combined 31 for Hindsbury.

St Joseph finished third in the junior competition after B.U.T failed to field a team.
