Jahcoby Nathaniel Gill, Stephon Davidson Freeman and Tyrese Ricardo Marshall are charged with maliciously engaging in conduct, namely shooting at Horace Knight and Nigel Clarke, which placed them in danger of death or serious bodily harm on May 6, 2021. They are also charged with using unlawful violence towards Knight and Clarke, and that their conduct, taken together, was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for their personal safety. The three are further accused of using a firearm without a valid licence on the same date and, without lawful excuse, damaging an office building and display sign belonging to Tweedside Esso Incorporated and a motor van belonging to Grantley Stewart. The trio pleaded not guilty to all charges before Justice Douglas Frederick and were informed that their trial would take place next year. The case continues on January 12.
