Richard Griffith, 53, is the country’s latest road fatality

A Christ Church man is Barbados’ latest road fatality. The victim has been identified as 53-year-old Richard Griffith of #27 Frere Pilgrim South, Christ Church

Police say around 12:03 Sunday morning, two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions along Cox Road, Christ Church, when for reasons still under investigation they collided. Both drivers lost control of their respective vehicles.

Griffith crashed into a tree and was pronounced dead on the spot.

The driver of the other vehicle reported no injuries at the time. His vehicle was extensively damaged.
