Repairs completed to ruptured main in Porters, St James

The Barbados Water Authority says repairs to a 16-inch main in Porters, St James were completed late Friday night.

Pumping also resumed from the authority’s facilities taken offline earlier in the day to facilitate the repair.

Water supply to the areas affected by low water pressure or outages is expected to gradually return to normal.

The authority apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this service disruption.
