The accused were charged with aggravated burglary at Saving Plus, Rock Dundo, St Michael last Friday. They are jointly accused of the theft of $1436.85 in cash and one cash pan valued at $55 belonging to Savings Plus Supermarket while being armed with a firearm and a cutlass. Yearwood will also face charges of possession of one firearm without a valid licence and two rounds of ammunition without a valid permit to do so. Yearwood is also accused of assaulting Police Sergeant Maurico Chase to prevent his lawful apprehension. They will return to court on August 16.
