Decades later he was named an honorary vice president and trustee of the Empire club. He was instrumental in the renovation of the clubโs facility. Brancker toured England in 1966 with the West Indies team but never played a Test match. After his playing days, he was also chairman of the Organising Committee for the ICC 2007 Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean. Wednesday the โkiddieโ cricketers of the Empire Club paid respect to one of their clubโs finest who died on July 27 at age 83.
