Barbados TODAY understands that the shipment is in transit and is due to arrive tomorrow afternoon. This will complete the batch of 100,800 doses which was promised in order to vaccinate one-fifth of the population. Over the weekend, Prime Minister Mia Mottley said that after a final shipment from COVAX, Barbados is expected to receive another donation of AstraZeneca vaccines. She stressed that the Government was keen on giving people a choice of vaccines, with AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Pfizer being made available.
