DLP president wishes PM Mottley a speedy recovery

Democratic Labour Party President Dr Ronnie Yearwood  has extended get well soon wishes to Prime Minister Mia Mottley.

Mottley has tested positive for COVID-19.  A Government statement said “it is a mild case and she has indicated that she is doing well.”

Below is the full statement issued by Dr Yearwood:

On hearing the news that Prime Minister Mia Mottley has tested positive for COVID -19, I would like to express sincere wishes for her speedy recovery on behalf of the family of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP).

We are all aware that the world is still fighting this virus and many Barbadians have lost loved ones to Covid-19.

I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to keep themselves and their families safe.
