The retreat, held at the Conference Room in the Animal Nutrition Unit in the Pine on Saturday, February 11, 2023, was an important step for the recently elected board of directors to brainstorm new ideas to help 4-H in Barbados develop over the next two years. Board members built an initial consensus on three key themes and actions: strengthening the institutional capacity of Barbados 4-H, developing and implementing national 4-H projects, and introducing the new ‘4-H Fourward’ Curriculum. The board will seek to further refine the discussions at regular meetings. Chairman Mr Alvin Romeo expressed his appreciation for the leadership and collaboration of the board members who worked to create a vision for the young people they have been elected to serve.
