According to Station Officer Roger Bourne from the Bridgetown Division, they received the call at 7:22 a.m. and the first vehicle arrived on the scene at 7:33 a.m. The officers were able to contain the blaze andย no other houses were involved. The fire service, along with the police, are investigating the origin of the fire. St. Michael West Central MP Ian Gooding-Edghill, who was on the scene, thanked the fire service for doing a fantastic job and containing the fire, thereby minimizing damage.
