Two-time double crown champions Good Shepherd Primary held a motorcade on Thursday to toast the recent achievements of their athletes at the National Primary School Athletic Championships (NAPSAC). On Monday, Good Shepherd captured both the boysโ and girlsโ titles in the Andrea Blackett Zone for the second successive year. The motorcade began at the schoolโs Fitts Village, St James compound and continued through the nearby communities. Physical education teacher, Jamar Layne told Barbados TODAY the schoolโs impressive feat was deserving of a celebration. โRight now we are having a motorcade because we have done the double in the Andrea Blackett Zone of the NAPSAC championships and we are just celebrating in this motorcade. As you can see the residents in the community are coming out also and supporting as well,โ he said. Approximately 200 of the schoolโs 240 students on the roll took part in the motorcade along with 20 teachers and auxillary staff.
