Reports indicate that the incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Eyewitnesses told Barbados TODAY that the man, who occasionally filled in for a regular newspaper vendor, was seen carrying out his duties when he suddenly collapsed. Ambulance personnel on the scene at Trafalgar and Ricketts Street, Bridgetown. โI just see him sit up, gasped a few times before he collapsed and hit his head on the ground,โ said one eye witness. โPeople rushed to help him but when they checked his pulse they said they couldnโt feel any.โ The eye witnesses said the police and the ambulance were notified.
