Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 736 A St Thomas resident narrowly escaped death as a fire burned his home to the ground on Thursday morning. ย The blaze, which broke out around 11:15 a.m., ravaged the wood and wall structure at Bridgefield, Barbados Fire Service Station Officer Roger Bourne told Barbados TODAY. ย โThe house was completely destroyed and one lone male occupant suffered some slight burns to both arms, right shoulder, and back of his head,โ he said. โThe ambulance came for him, but the injuries are not life-threatening.
