The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Investigations revealed that Gibbs was walking along a track when he was approached by another man who inflicted multiple stab wounds. Police were summoned and, upon arrival, found him unresponsive. A medical doctor later visited the scene and pronounced death. A suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
