Dust haze advisory is in effect for Barbados

Barbadians are being told to brace for another significant Sahara Dust outbreak which is affecting the island and marine area.

The Barbados Meteorological Services has advised that residents, visitors, and marine users should be prepared to take action, as a significant reduction in visibility is already occurring. Persons with respiratory issues/allergies must travel with or have close at hand any and all medications in case of an emergency.
