Herbert, a jockey, of no fixed place of abode, appeared before Justice Randall Worrell this morning and was told to return on August 5 when the report is expected to be ready. Herbert, who is in his 50s, previously pleaded guilty to entering a womanโs home as a trespasser with intent to indecently assault an 11-year-old girl on January 21, 2018. The child, according to Crown Counsel Joyann Catwell, was jolted awake on the night by a wet sensation on her lips. She then came face to face with a man standing over her. The perpetrator placed his finger over his mouth but the child tapped her sister who was nearby and alerted her to what was happening. On seeing the childโs actions the man ran out the bedroom, through the back door, out the backyard and made good his escape. Barbados Today Stay informed and engaged with our digital news platform.
