(BTI) informs the public that there will be a town hall meeting to discuss the Salt Pond Project Phase Two on Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the St. Peter Parish Church. The execution of this project forms part of the Speightstown flood mitigation plan. The meeting will provide information on Phase Two of the Salt Pond Project and address any concerns and/or queries. Invitations to attend the town hall have been sent directly to residents and business owners of Around-the-Town, Church Street, Gills Terrace, Goddings Alley, Chapel Street and Queen Street, St Peter. The meeting will also be recorded and distributed via the Government Information Service and CBC TV 8 for viewing by the general public at a later date. Minister in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment and Member of Parliament for St Michael South Central, Marsha Caddle; Minister of Labour and Social Partnership Relations and Member of Parliament for St Peter, Colin Jordan; and representatives from the Barbados Tourism Investment Inc., DLN Consultants, ITB Associates and Haigh Communications Inc. will be in attendance.
