A City teen is to spend the next 28 days on remand on gun, assault and drug charges.

Tresanee DeAngelo Goodridge, 19, of Chapman Street, is accused of possessing an unlicensed firearm and 13 rounds of ammunition on May 5.

As the weapons charges are indictable, Goodridge was not required to enter a plea before the No.1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court. He is represented by Shadia Simpson as his defence counsel.

Goodridge was also not required to plead to the charge that he unlawfully assaulted Troy Jordan, Ian Chase, Sanaj Lewis and Jamal Grant on the same day.

But he told the court that was not guilty of possession, possession with intent to supply and possession with intent to traffic in a quantity of cannabis.

He will make his next appearance before Magistrate Manila Renee on June 9.
