First fatal shooting of 2023

A St Lucy man was shot and killed at Risk Road, Fitts Village, St James on Friday.

Police have identified the victim as Ramon Tyrone Archer, 33, of Crab Hill.

According to police, Risk Road residents reported hearing several gunshots around 7 p.m. in the area and subsequently Archer was discovered lying on the ground. Medical personnel pronounced death at the scene.

Investigations are continuing. (BT)
